Somalia celebrates it’s 1960 independence on the 1st of July. Following independence in 1960.

In 1962 Rwanda received independence from Belgium. Rwanda celebrate their independence day on the 1st of July.

Burundi (like Rwanda) celebrate their 1962 independence from Belgium on 1st of July. The name was changed to Burundi from Ruanda-Urundi.

Canada Day is the 1st of July. It celebrates the British creation of Canada in 1867.

There is no official national day for the United Kingdom. There is a push for a day to be designated.
